The Swiss Parliament voted against a motion for the government to create a legal framework for negative interest rates. This runs counter to the comment earlier from the Swiss Finance Minister who said they were exploring the use of negative interest rates to help decrease the value of the CHF.
The $EURCHF dips on the news but remains above the support at the 1.2204/09 area.
