HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!  This past year has been an eye opening year for me!  Obviously because of the economy we live in and the fact that we are all traders, but more importantly, the resources that have been brought to the fore front thanks in large part to the StockTwits team.  Howard Lindzon, Soren MacBeth & Phil Pearlman may be ugly looking fellows, but what they’ve done to enhance the community (as well as create it) is remarkable & deserves to be recognized as hands down the most influential concept of 2009 (if not the decade).  Most of us have turned off the CNBC’s of the world (not to pick on CNBC, I’m just talking about horrible financial reporting, regardless of the channel) and turned to the REAL people of the financial community.  My trading has expanded, grown and been sharpened because of the direct connection to the StockTwits community.

Where else can you find the likes of Jim Gobetz, Joe Donohue, Todd Sullivan, Brian Shannon, Doug Estadt and so on and so on willing to share their knowledge and successes?  You can’t find it any where else…  This is a unique community that will be around for a VERY LONG TIME!!!   A big thank you goes out to the traders that help, allow narrow minded traders like myself to make money….

I’ve been trading currencies for 6 years now & I felt like I lived on an island…  Currency trading is one of those professions that use to get you treated like the Salem, Mass witches!  The StockTwits community has brought a plethora of currency traders to each others finger tips, but most importantly, GOOD/GREAT currency traders!! Traders/Analysts like Ashraf Laidi, Lydia Idem Finkley, Erik Kanters, Greg Michalowski, German Santos & MANY OTHERS THAT I DON’T HAVE TIME TO WRITE OUT!  Thank you all who allow me to leach off your knowledge, I appreciate it & so does my girlfriend and mortgage company…  THANK YOU!!!

(Good luck trying to pronounce some of their names, I certainly can’t)

The biggest thank you goes to Howard Lindzon, Soren MacBeth, Phil Pearlman and the rest of the people who created and help grow the StockTwits community, because with out you guys, this wouldn’t be possible!
